The Role:

One Project seeks a dedicated talent acquisition  leader to develop and execute a top-tier recruiting strategy that will build capacity for the organization from inception.   Working with One Project teams to identify their hiring needs and fill job openings, the ideal recruiter will develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process, collect data on cost-per-hire and time-to-hire, work with hiring managers to create job description and conduct regular follow-up to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.  The recruiter will develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with OP team to identify hiring needs and build inspiring, impactful  job descriptions for each new role
  • Collaborate with OP team members to compile an accurate list of role requirements for each position
  • Build and implement an effective and creative outreach plan to attract diverse and highly qualified candidates through networks, databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
  • Design and manage interview loops for each position
  • Build a robust pipeline by continuously sourcing to ensure that One Project grows  a world class team
  • Build an inclusive and creative hiring culture that supports One Project’s values and creates a positive hiring experience for candidates. 
  • Build and implement a transparent, inclusive system to engage OP team members in the hiring process. 
  • Build and implement recruiting and hiring tools to support an efficient and well documented recruiting system
  • Create and maintain relationships with recruiters as needed
  • Manage on-boarding and new hire processes
  • Keep up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company
  • Refine current HR practices to support the existing OP team 

 Requirements:

  • 7+ years of successful recruiting experience, preferably in support of social impact organizations
  • Experience designing and implementing HR systems to scale
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Google Suite 
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
